I just got back from doing an iphone line drive-by. So far there are about 6 people at my local ATT store and around 20 campers at the Apple Store. I called the mall where the Apple store is and they told me that they were going to let everyone in at 5am to start the line. So I'm getting up at 4a, heading to the mall, if the line is 30 or less, I'm jumping in because I'd rather sit inside and use Apples wifi than sit out in the blazing heat at ATT.
Hows it looking out there?:2cool:
Just did a drive by myself about an hour ago and no campers at the three stores I checked here in Vegas

Sounds like a great idea. those volunteers are a hardy bunch though. Doubt the elements will break their enthusiasm.

Forgot to mention...the majority of the people in line are college students with nothing better to do...tents and other misc. camping gear. I figure the grownups will roll in around 7a. No offense to the college students btw.

Which store has the campers Thedwp? I am heading to Mt. Juliet in the morning. It's closer to me.

Cool Springs / Mallory Ln has a group of 6 friends camped out. Talked to them earlier, seemed like nice people. I live in Cool Springs, and I don't anticipate a big line at that store. However, Mt. Juliet is probally a great place to get one.

I ended up at the Apple Store, Green Hills...I watched the weather last night so I'd rather be in than out. They let us in a 5...there are about 30 in line now...I'm #3:laugh2:
Channel 5 is here.

Im hoping all goes well in Mt. Juliet. I was really hoping that I don't get out there and then something happen like they don't actually have them or anything. I know if I go to Green Hills then at least I would get one, but I don't want to drive 30 minutes and fight late afternoon Friday traffic when I go to MJ 10 minutes away. Oh well, I'm fixing to go get ready to start scoping out Mt. Juliet. To everyone in Nashville, May the for...I mean Steve be with you!

Dammit...I won't be able to get out towards Green Hills Mall until around 4:30 PM. The line will probably be ridiculous by then. Do you think they will be a well supplied store?

It's going around that Apple stores are getting 500 phones but i don't think people know. I'd sat though that if they are planning on staying open until midnight they will have plenty..I'd say we're up to 40-50 people now at 8:30a.
