So I was walking the other day and my iPhone jumped out of my pocket.
I didn't expect my own iPhone to want to end its life. Luckily it didn't succeed and all that happened was a crack to the screen.
I'm debating what to do now, I was thinking about putting one of those invisible films on the front.
I guess I'm lucky bcause the crack isn't THAT bad. The phone still works 100 percent and for that I am grateful.

oh man, that's nasty. If it doesn't bother you too much I'd keep it. Hopefully the next version of the iPhone is only a few months away anyways.

I think if that happened to me, I'd be almost suicidal. :tounge:
Glad your phone still works.

Oh, no, I wouldn't stand the pain! I'd get a new one. I'd keep it cleaner too. i can't stand any smudges on my baby.

my old one had a crack on the screen...
it died, and the replacement has fallen only once and that was when it was in a case...

You are not in an enviable position. If the phone still works, you may want to wait for the next version to come out. Otherwise, here is a quick google link to some options.

Although these are serivces offered by 3rd party vendors, I'd be curious as to whether Apple could replace the screen at cost? Would such a cost be comparable?

I decided to sell my phone unlocked on ebay. Hopefully It will generate enough for me to shell out the difference.
