IP Adress + Edge?

Hey guys,

I was just wondering what the situation is with Edge having an IP adress; does Edge have an IP adres? Is it the same for everybody?
I began wondering because I used to be a member to a text-based game that only accepted one member per IP address. So, I could check up on my game from my iPhone using Edge, though I was always unsure of wether or not I could let my friends check up on theirs, as I was unsure if this would be classed as the same IP. But, if this was the case, then no one else in the country could use Edge to check their game.

Does anybody know how this works?

Yes, you have an IP with Edge. I do not know if it is unique to your phone, however, or if it is dynamic. I also don't know how this affects your game.

I do know that you can see your Edge IP using Bossprefs if you're jailbroken. Which You're not.

I guess it's a big ol' [shrug] overall from me then. Sorry.

It changes as you move around. Mine can be something at my house and something completley different 50 feet down the street.
