I just did a jailbreak on my iphone (1.1.4 firmware) with iLiberty. only took about 5 minutes!
I have the installer app and just installed SwirlyMMS from swirlyspace.com/SwirlySpace.xml and used these settings:
MMSC: mmsc.cingular.com
Proxy: 066.209.011.032
----------------
I tried to send a pic and received the following error: (any ideas?)
Failed to send MMS
Possible incorrect mmsc setting.
Unexpected http response
(HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden)

As far as I know, swirly isn't working any more on the iphones. ATT has blocked the mms features. It was working on my iphone as well as many others just fine but now it doesn't.

You may be able to call AT&T and make up an excuse why you want to activated? Maybe you change phones and want it to be activated.

I don't understand why AT&T would block SwirlyMMS messages. Don't they still get to charge us all 25 cents for each message? Don't they want to make money?
I would think Apple's blatant dissing of the MMS system would be a serious hit in AT&T's pocket.

T-mobile...
I think AT&T prevents MMS's from/to it's members.

Got it. But do you have to go your picture album to see pics. I keep getting the message to go to my album. If that's right , then it's ok. Thanx
