Well I finally J/B last week... I was like wow why did I not do it sooner.. but after spending so much time customizing and using the ssh, I decided I am spending too much time and went back to the old way.. I restored back to my old iphone ways... It was fun and all but I am just going to hold out and hope when sdk is released it wont be as difficult to have to search on here to find those fixes that are needed when jailbroken... Thank you to all that helped me with the process.. you are the best and that is why this site is #1

I've not had any issues, needed any hacks, etc....but then again, I'm still kinda in that "So what's the big deal?" camp when it comes to Jailbreak. I've done it to both my iPod Touch and my iPhone and really haven't found "my" reason to keep it this way. Then again, no reason to NOT keep it this way until the SDK sprouts some apps in June. So I figure I'll just stay away from the tweaks/hacks that are known to have issues and enjoy the cool factor of saying "Hey baby...my iPhone is Jailbroken."

My 4 year old does enjoy the little "Real Artist" crazy face maker app....so there you go. Jailbreaking turns a $400 phone into a playtoy for a 4 year old. Woot!

lol did not see the tickle me elmo app.. see I miss the jailbreak already but I just have been spending to much time with it... Also I forgot to mention I customized some sound for a new text and email message and then customize stopped working and I could not install it again so I just said the heck with it and figured hey I can wait... When the sdk comes out I don't want to feel like it is nothing new..

My daughter just turned 5 and she also *loves* Real Artist - makes daily requests to see it and laughs like hell every time. She also likes the Drummer and Pianist apps

I think the key to happy jailbreaking at this point is to avoid heavy customizations. Sadly this often means restricting customizing to desktop image only! But it's still worth it to me just to run a few apps and games.

I have to stay jailbroken...

although, there was this one time something went wrong with ZiPhone, and I wound up on an activated, unlocked 1.1.1... but not jailbroken.

it was pretty sick.

then I was like Pianist! Please!

and off to i.unlock.no I went..
