Hello iCafe Friends,
I am trying to configure my iPod Touch so that when I delete an email from my iBook it is also deleted from my iPod Touch. AppleCare Help tells me this can't be done. I know it can because my brother and my friend both tell me that, when they delete a message from their mac computer, it is deleted on their iPhone or iPod Touch too. They don't remember doing anything special to make that happen and they both have .mac accounts. I read (somewhere!) online that it email message syncing (as opposed to setting syncing) can be done if one has an IMAP account rather than a POP account. So I bought a .mac account and forwarded my POP account mail to it. I then set my .mac preferences to sync email. It still does not work. Any ideas?
