1.0.2 Problem ..please Help ..ziphone

HI .. thanks 4 taking the time to read this ..but all what i was trying to do was to upgrade to 1.1.3 form 1.0.2 version..the phone was working fine with t-mobile ..but after i downloaded the 1.1.3 update my pc , i conected my phone to ituens and clicked restore with the shift and i picked the 1.1.3 , but after 2 minutes a message came up with (the phone iphone could not be restored ,AN UNKNOWN ERROR OCCURRED 1604) . so i opened the ziphone and let it do it all but nothing happen ..it said the serching for iphone ...please can i anyone tell me what do i need to do ? thanks again ..

try this...

Hold both home and power button down till phone shuts off.
Release power button and while still holding home plug into computer and continue to hold home untill conect to iTunes picture apears.
Release home button and start again fresh.

Btw.. When u go to set up the iPhone in iTunes set it up as if it were a new phone. Aka make a new partnership.

if you click check for updates and u already have 1.1.4 downloaded then nothing will happen.

on my pc i have 1.1.3 but still did not get the iphone to restore ..if you click check for updates and u already have 1.1.4 downloaded then nothing will happen.

when you plug your phone into the pc iTunes doesn't recognize it??

see when i start all over ..i click on restore and shift and chose the 1.1.3 that i downloaded to my doc. and its seems like it working and it said (prepering to restore iphone) but in about 1 minute ..a mesage will apper saying ..the phone could not be restored unknown error 1603 ,?!!just to clairify..

i got the phone back in september and it was on 1.0.2 version ..Is that what do i need to restore it to ? i hope not

Ok this isn't much help but its a start.
do a serch on the forum for error 1603
go down to the thread that says non techi frozen phone. This is the best direction I can point u in untill I can find out more about the error that u are getting. Hope this helps. Dont give up, I'm gone keep looking.

I just read that while trying to restore phone u might try taking sim card out.

i did ..i dont have a SIM in the phone ..but can u tell me what would happen if i check for updates on itune ..thanks

you can push the button. Go right ahead. Its not gone hurt anything. If u push it its gone want to download 1.1.4 is about all it will do.
