Apple released safari with it's latest update. If the iPhone had copy and paste I'd post the link, go to your stock widget and hit the Y at the bottom and that will take you to the story.

I tried Safari a while back, and after a short period of time, deleted it and went right back to Firefox.

My Itunes displayed it as an update and I accepted it, it didnt do it automatically. Its OK I guess, I gotta play around with it a little more to see how it is

I use Safari pretty much exclusively now on my PC and Mac. I really enjoy aliased screen fonts, it dramatically improves the way websites look. I'm also a fan of the render speed, I think it builds the pages out a lot faster, and it parses CSS to the current standards which is a huge plus for me.

IE and Firefox have issues with how they handle simple CSS values like Padding and Margins. A 5 pixel padding will always look different between IE and Firefox, and thats just the tip of the iceberg with their CSS handling.

In a nutshell, I have to create 2 CSS pages for every site I make, one for Firefox, and one for IE. If everyone used Safari, I'd only ever have to create one because its doing exactly what its supposed to be based on internet standards and guidelines.

Oh yeah, Safari's SSL security is weaker compared to the big two, but I'm not exactly managing my life's savings online, so it doesn't affect me.

I've had the 'pleasure' of dealing with the IE vs. FF issues as well - really a pain in the arse.

My favorite browser right now is still Flock - it seems fast for me - both on a PC and on my new Mac (Hurrah) - and I like its extra social tools ...

Even on a MAc nobody uses Safari, except John cuz he's likes it like that. I used to use FireFox but I ditched that quick for Camino.

I think I just posted that I use Safari exclusively on Mac and PC. I put a whole bunch of words next to each other to describe why if you're interested. Its back on page 1.
