Have you searched your local Craigslist for "iPhone" lately?
Mine has plenty of ads...$500 to take someone's spot in line, $1300 for an iPhone from an AT&T "employee", $1250 for an iPhone delivered tomorrow night, $1000 for an iPhone with $250 cash deposit, iPhone for cost plus $250 directly from Apple headquarters in Cupertino (wtf?).....the list goes on and on.
