I believe they will and the next gen. will be like the iPhone and around $300 for a 100gb model (i wish) :)

My 60g ipod video goes EVERYWHERE WITH ME...so worth it.

Well I got my first Ipod about a year and a half ago, but I must admit to never even using it. But my Iphone is utilized very effectively, including music, and even a few videos.

But to anwser your question, the target market is not necessarily overlapping, so no I do not see a price reduction in the near future.

My 60g ipod video goes EVERYWHERE WITH ME...so worth it.
