Weird, I had to refresh my sources 3 times before it showed up. Downloading now. Thanks!

Just downloaded it - great app. So much better than Pocket Guitar. I've already picked out Dani California, not to get fast with it...

Kinda awkward to me. Hard to handle. Love the Piano and the Drum though. Amazing what the devs are able to do with this iPhone!

The author, "MooTheCow", put up a post in his developer's diary for Guitar I think it was. In it, he tries to explain why he has taken the route he did, and his reasoning behind it.

Unfortunately, it seems that many of the ideas he had wanted to implement had to be nixed out of concern that they may be misconstrued by existing guitar applications/games. He was already served a cease and desist by Apple for using an iPhone image for the splash screen of iAno. This has left a bad taste in the author's mouth, and as such he's playing it very cautious now.

Some of the ideas he had were predefining chords similar to how Jam Sessions does on the Nintendo DS, as well as a full repetoire of guitars with their own unique skins and sounds.

In a nutshell, I think all Guitarist really is at it's core is a reworked Pianist. Looking beyond that however, I can see the original intent -- to make Guitarist an option for songs that are otherwise impossible to play in PocketGuitar.

I'm a pianist, and I prefer Guitarist :tounge:

Hammer-on style is more natural for us... here's me hammering out some GNR... although it sounds like it's on banjo:
