View Full Version : When Will Customize Work Again.....

It stopped working after i had no choice but to upgrade to 1.1.4 and jailbreak... Ive done plenty of Research here in this great site but no solutions...I hope It will be up and running soon!:angry:

Check out the thread "Modded Customize" i posted a youtube video explaining how to get it to work. Its really easy, if you cant figure it out from the video, do me a favor and throw your iphone into the toilet and flush it down.

got it and installed it but i can not change the number of icons on the dock

SOunds GooD! i really want my customize to work and its such a hassle to do the run around. BUt what the heck! here goes nothing....

ALright...Well i watched his video and there is nothing at all in the file "all sources" for Customize 1.1.3... so what do i do from there? thanks for all your help guys

I just kept trying different things people were suggesting on these threads and I don't know what I did but it finally started working on my phone. I almost gave up on it. Keep trying you'll get it.

See the thing is i thing that the person who made the app in those catagories removed them. maybe that is why no one can find the application.. I tried using the WinSCP but it wouldnt accept my login and PW. Anyone know what it is? i think it was Root as the SN and then alpine as the PW but it didnt work. I also did it the other way around and it still didnt work!! im goin crazy here people~!! please please help~!:angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry:

Are you sure you kept refreshing your sources like it says in the video? Refresh them until the new ones are not in "uncategorized" or whatever. They must appear under their own subgroup. If they don't, you spelled them wrong. I had this problem because I didn't realize in the vid that he was saying "ipodtouched" and I was leaving off the "ed". Doesn't work that way... double check your typing.

Also make sure your ".xml" isn't capitalized (auto-correct will get you here, be careful)

I followed the video to the tee yesterday and it worked flawlessly just as he said. Even the "tap the chicken" thing which I thought was hilarious.

My XML was capitalized and it worked and ipodtouche sounds classy.

Works fine for me after installing the regular one with the SystemVersion.plist edited to 1.12.

there is no known way to change the number of icons in the dock right now since the file that allowed this happen in prior firmwares was either removed, moved, or renamed in fw1.1.3 and thereafter. Were still working on it though so keep you hopes up.
