do you guys know if the iphone will automatically change to reflect daylight savings time?

Do I need to change it manually?

your iPhone should automatically convert to and from DST at 2 a.m. if it does not, turn it off and turn it back on. it is based on the carrier tme, and updates as neccissary. (sp)

mine didn't change. I tried turning it on and off still did nothing. Ended up having to turn off auto set for it to change.

Mine changed too. I think it changes after your first received call, based on the time the call was received, after your carrier makes their time change. I could be wrong...

I put mine in airplane mode every night and it was changed before I took it out of airplane mode.

Mine changed without any problem. I guess it depends on your carrier. Are you on at&t?

it all depends on your settings. You can switch it so that it will/will not change and adjust the time automatically.

I did change it but it is off auto set. I can't put it back on auto cause it changes back. I would like to put it back to auto set so it changes when I change time zones. I don't understand why it wouldn't change.

Go to 'settings' and there, you would have to set it to auto.

same here, put it on the charger last night and this morning it was on the right time. I think all mobile phones are on network (your carrier) time.

Yeah it was on auto but it still didn't change. I don't know why.

Mine changed without any problem. Now for the rest of the clocks in the house, I am still remembering where they all are.

Thought I would update this thread. Well I turn on auto set when i got home from work just now. What do you know they actually fixed it. Must have been no one to change the time over the weekend or something.

This is strange.........Mine did change automatically, but now when I turn the phone off, then back on, it reverts to non-DST. i.e. an hour ahead.

I can turn it back off and on again, and it reverts to DST again.

Odd !
