I restored to 1.1.4, ran ZiPhone and jailbroke & activate, but the phone part no longer works? Did a reset, but still no phone function.

Did I do something wrong here?

I don't have the AT&T iPhone plan.

If you're not on AT&T, activate isn't going to do it for you - you want one of the Unlock options it sounds like, if you were unlocked before ...

Nope, my phone was never unlocked. It was only activated. I did the "Do everything" option and the phone is now working.

Will test it out now.

You just confused me - thought you said you did not have AT&T plan, so thought you were unlocked. If you are not unlocked, you did not want to tell it to do everything, since that includes unlocking ...

I don't have the iPhone plan. I have a regular data plan with the 450 minutes plan. I get a 24% discount through my work, so I don't want to move to the iPhone plan. So my iPhone has never been unlocked, only jailbroken and activated.

My phone was on 1.1.2 (1.1.1 otb) and I restored to 1.1.4 then ran ZiPhone. When I chose the jailbreak & activate option it worked, but the phone bit stopped working!! But when I chose the do everything option the phone part started working again.

Do you think I should chose the "refurbish" option, then restore back to 1.1.4 and try again with the jailbreak and activate only option?

I'm not sure - if everything is working now, I'd leave it ...
