1.14 is out; it has bug fixes and prepares phones for the SDK. Looks like the SDK itself won't be out for a few weeks.

We don't know for definate that it prepares the phone for the SDK, though I think it does.

I have a feeling the 1.1.4 update does exactly what John said. Simply a few big fixes and prepares the phone for the SDK release, which is probably a few weeks ago seeing as Apple is mum on the ordeal.
