Hi I know its a real novice (i havent an iphone) question but does the iphone have the same itunes wifi store to iphone download mechanism that the itouch has. Or is this an itouch feature only.

yes the wifi store works the exact same on the iPhone.

OK guys thanks but to make things a little complicated what if your unlocked and jailbroken and not in one of the official iphone launch countries (USA, UK, etc) surely it wont work as your login gives you away (location credit card details etc):frown:

well i robot, i'm not sure what happens if your unlocked in another country...

i can say that if you jailbreak and buy something on itunes, there is no way that apple would be able to tell your jailbroken...

Lets say that apple could tell you were an unlocked and jailbroken phone in another country...i dont think they would do anything about it. They would just void your warrenty if anything....

I suppose itouchs are available here and they use wifi store unless there was someway able could tell your requestiing downloads from an iphone and not an itouch.

what do you mean movie rentals? I dont think you can rent movies from either, just the iTunes store on your computer.
