EDGE problem

i have an iPhone unlocked on all uk networks with 1.1.3 everything works fine but EDGE. i dont think i even have the settings for it but i do get the little E in the top corner. does any body know if it works on unlocked 1.1.3 or o2 pay and go?

Hi mate you can get edge to work, but, bare in mind that it costs £3 a mega bite, The edge settings that you need to put in are on a post in this o2 section.

Edge sucks on o2. I can't get coverage anywhere, it's merely GPRS.

i am running v 1.1.4 i go into general>networks and there is no edge settings to be seen any ideas where i can get an idiots step by step guide
