Would not be shocked it this were true, as there have been several reports of possible delays.

Surprised at the fact that Apple couldn't get their act together to get it out 8 months after launch = Yes - that would be very lame ...

Well this isn't the first time Apple has disappointed. Does not suprise me one bit, but I guess it is better to get it right the first time than to rush it (does vista come to mind).

It's no big deal to me. I have been completely satisfied with my phone and waiting another two-three weeks for an even better phone will not kill me.
