Question regaurding 3g?

I have had 3g for a long time on my previouse phone. It was a blackjack. I kinda think for me persoanly it will be faster.

It depends on your coverage area. If you're in a spotty 3G area then you likely won't connect to 3G that often and will be strapped to the speeds of EDGE. However, 3G is noticeably faster than EDGE.

Exactly my thoughts. I'm located on Long Island and it's hit or miss. Speeds are nice, when you can find a consistent 3G connection. I always thought it would be on par with EvDO, but EvDO coverage is much more widespread. Now if only Verizon would have broke down and did a deal with Apple.

As others have said, if you are in a 3G area its noticably faster, but the area isnt overly large. Where I live I am almost always in 3g, but other parts of the country the coverage is spotty.

ALthough from what I hear that is about to change.

If you have a 3g signal it is remarkably faster.

Not just the Internet. Voice quality is better, and you can have voice and data connections at the same time. That way, you don't miss a call, and don't have to hang up the phone to check something on the web when you don't have wifi.
