Must be new. just looked and the one before this was in January ver. 7.6 only

No. This is a new version. Was not aware of this. Thanks. Makes me think a new firmware will follow for the phone to get ready for SDK.

I think it just came out today. I used iTunes yesterday and there was no upgrade available then. I upgraded a few minutes ago but don't see anything new.

Apple released it earlier today. It's a few bug fixes and improves compatibility with the Apple TV; nothing big. Shouldn't interfere with jailbreaking and the like.

GADep, if you're trying to turn people off with that image, know that it works. the picture is so hideous i have to avoid looking at it. of course im 30 years old and cant sit through Wrong Turn despite having Elisha Dushku in a wifebeater for 90 mins.
