i downloaded it but i dont see the ssh icon in the program i see edge wifi bluetooth could it be because i dont have that media pack w/ at&t???

Which SSH app did you download? OpenSSH? And which program are you saying does not show an icon? OpenSSH does not place an icon on your Springboard, so that would be normal if that's what you're referring to ...
