Lost iPhone Receipt, Still under 1 year warranty

am i out of luck or can i bring it into apple without the receipt and still pay 250 for a new one??

They should be able to look you up by the Serial number of the phone. This Serial number is tied to you when you activated it which is as good as a receipt. I had to swap my phone out last week and didn't even think to bring my receipt and they didn't even ask. They looked me up by my name, Serial number, Phone number which told them my warranty was good till June 29th 2008.
