iPhone Delete

I have purchased a 16g iPhone and want to sell my 8g. How can I erase the 8g in order to sell it?? I don't want to give away my contacts, music etc.

only way I know is to go into each contact tap edit then scroll to bottom and tap delete contact

Settings/general/reset/erase all content and settings.
