View Full Version : Video Application
So, I recently bought the Ipod Touch from my friend (16 gig, firmware 1.1.2)
I'm not very familiar with the Touch itself, so I've been playing around with it the past couple days, today I uploaded a movie onto it to test it out (was converted by Videora), but when it was loaded etc. I couldn't find where to play the videos from, the only place my Ipod says the words "Video" are in the settings.
Now is it possible my friend deleted it somehow?
And also is it possible to get the Video application back without having to "restore" it? Because I would rather not have to deal with all the upgrading and reloading of apps. etc.
Any help is appreciated, thx!

No not the video (movie) I'm talking about the application that lets you play videos on the Ipod touch itself

When you're in the iPod app hit the 'More' button on the bottom row - that should take you to a screen where Videos and other options are available - from there you can also hit the 'Edit' button and then drag the Videos icon (or any of the others) down onto the bottom row if you want it to replace one of the other icons there ...

Okay, well I don't think it works for me, are you talking about doing it on the computer? Because I don't have a program installed for the firmware on my computer

No - on the Touch - I don't own a Touch, but believe the iPod app is the same as the iPhone - if the video is on the Touch, you should be able to do as I suggested in my previous post in order to play it ....
