I don't think my camera/contacts is working

This is really weird. I noticed on the commercial that when a call was received the caller's picture was a small icon in the upper right hand corner. That's also the way my Wife's iPhone works. My phone does NOT work that way. When someone calls me their picture takes up the whole screen. It's been like this from day one (1.1.1). I'm now on 1.1.3 and have never modded my phone. The second problem is that when I am in contacts and I edit the contact and select the option to add a picture, the iPhone allows me to take the picture and then immediately jumps back to the main screen. The picture is never saved. The only way for me to associate a picture with a caller is to take the picture and then add that picture to the caller's profile. Is my phone "broken"? I searched the forum and didn't find anything on this one...

the small image like the commercial only shows up like that if you take the picture from your computer and put it on the phone for the contact. if you take the picture with the phone, its going to be big like that.

If the image was synced form the computer, it's small. If it was last edited on the iphone. it's big.

Thank you for the reply, but this is not correct. My Wife can take pictures from her phone and it shows up as an icon. We just tested it. Also, this does not answer my 2nd problem.

As long as you have never modded it, like you said. Take it to the Apple store and have them either fix it or replace it. Your wifes iPhone is the only one I have ever heard of that can take the picture and set it as a small icon.
