When you press and hold the power and home buttons, and then release the power button, it's thrown into DFU Mode, or Restore Mode.

Yea iBrickr can kick it out of restore mode. So can ZiPphone but that might be a little too dangerous to try right now (it's changing too fast).

iNdependence can do the job as well, should you be using a Mac.
