Books Application on 1.1.3

Has anyone been able to get the Books application to work on 1.1.3? My problem is that the app does not find the ebooks I have installed.

I've searched...and found some stuff about changing permissions on the files, which I have tried and which doesn't seem to work.

Any help would be appreciated!!

I installed books first then the bible and it works fine.

I'm using vs. 1.3.7

It works fine for me too. I loaded it and the King James Bible and then my own copy of the New King James Bible. Works great.
