i wrote an email to beejive asking about the iphone sdk and this is what i got in reply:
Hi,
Thank you for your email, we're happy you're enjoying JiveTalk! We do plan on writing a native application once the iPhone SDK comes out, which will take care of a lot of issues the web application currently has. It will presumably work identically to the BlackBerry application. The feature you mentioned is on our "to do" list.
