Visual Voicemail

What do you think will happen with Visual Voicemail when in an area that is a wireless "partner" of AT&T? I would imagine that visual voicemail uses edge to grab your voicemail so if edge is not available do you think you will still have access the normal way?

I searched for and didnt see an answer. I probably missed it. I know its all theories at this point but am interested in your thoughts.

I dont think EDGE has anything to do with voicemail. Like on my regular cell phone, I don't have EDGE or anything like that, just a voice plan and I get my messages. So I imagine that the voicemail will be carried over the regular cell network.

Yeah thats true I just figured that with the downloading on to the phone and being able to stop and play back that it was a file downloaded. I guess I could wait and see its only a little over 2 days away!
