iPhone takes some pretty nice pics when the lighting is good! The quality of these kills my stupid Motorola phone.

How did Poques get on the tarmac of an airport? Isn;t that like a major security thing?

Nah.. sometimes when I fly I've had to go out on the tarmac. Its just because the smaller planes, like the delta connection planes, can't use the jetways that attach to the gate for the larger planes.

Well they are not the best pictures that can be taken, but it is above my expectations!

i think the phone will hold its own for capturing those moments you can only snap once in a lifetime, thats my thoughts on having a camera phone at least

It's 1,000,000 times better than the piece o'carp I've got on my Motorola. When I want really good pics, I'll whip out my Canon 10D.

I'm very impressed with the picture quality! I didn't even plan on taking pictures with it but now I see it works well I'll take a ton of pictures :)

They look brilliant but the fact you can't zoom or send pictures via text message kind of bums me out.

Both of those could be fixed with software updates i presume. Wouldnt it be possible to add a digital zoom with a quick software fix if apple chooses too?

But those are indeed good quality. Exceeded my expectations anyhoo

No, there will be no MMS at all.

I was pretty impressed with the pictures. In low light, the pictures aren't that great, but overall for a phone the pics are awesome.

Pics look good, but I'm really shocked that the camera doesn't have a zoom feature. Even my old Motorola v600 had that! Is zoom something that could be added via a software update?

Thats what i was thinking. I mean obviously an optical zoom is out of the question, but a digital zoom would be better than nothing. I dunno, but maybe that could be added via software. :gasp:

You would need MMS to send those photos to another phone, that's what you need it for.

I hardly use email and I don't know many people who do so it's kind of pointless to email the pictures to someone. I guess I'll have to start asking all my friends for their email addresses...

Well, the bigger problem, for those who DO take pics with their phone and send them to their friends, is that *most* phones don't show pictures in emails. So, even if you could email it to them, they can't see the picture, anyway. Mostly smart-phone only stuff, there.

I don't know anyone who uses their phone to check their e-mail. So it doesn't bother me, I don't plan on sending them a picture that they have to see immediately. Just as long as they see it in their e-mail eventually.

Well, i got alot of female friends, and they like to do silly stuff like that....plus, if I had a camera phone like the iPhone, i'd like to be able to do it. Oh well, i'll just live with email only....hopefully it'll be in a software update, later. Doubtful, though. :)

Well it's certainly not a Nikon, but those pics are better than any I've ever seen from a cell phone.
