i wouldnt see why it wouldnt
theres various types of these around for your cd player
your ipod
your zune
any other mp3 players
i dont see why it wouldnt work for the iphone

it just transmits your songs to a certain frequency that you can pick up on your radio..

though if your car has an aux. in port id just get a cable and use that if its for your car..
but if you want to use it on your good ol boom box, go for it!
