They are speaking of HSUPA which is a 3G technology. The current IPhone will not benefit because it dosen't have the 700 band or any other 3G band for that matter but the next model could.

Yeah, pretty craptastic article that makes you think your iPhone will get a speed boost soon which is the furthest thing from the truth.

Because all at&t sims are 3G capable now. They only have 1 type of sim. They are edge & gprs compatible also so they will work with any at&t phone.

Sounds promising but only for the V2 iPhone.

If it's a 3G tech, why do the keep calling it EDGE? Maybe there is a technology to make EDGE faster, one can hope anyway.
