hi i have 1.1,3 i phone i have a problem when i bought it intially the alarm was workin but from past 2 days the alarm isnt workin. and also i cant auto connect to wifi.. pls help me sum1

Are you in the US and did you jailbreak? If it is a stock phone, I would return it to an Apple store if there is one near you.

He is cracking a joke saying that maybe he can't hear the alarm because he still has earplugs in from when he was sleeping.

Yeah, the joke was the BEFORE you wake up. A bit like those hospital nurses who wake you up to ask if you want a sleeping pill. The timing is the joke.
I'm glad somebody is getting my unsophisticated sense of humor once in a while.
