Once again, I was not sure if this was the correct forum to post this, so I am sorry if I made a mistake.

Besides "jailbreaking" my iPhone (which I'd really prefer not to do) is there a way to have a background instead of the plain black behind all of the application buttons and pages?

I've seen people with pictures of it but wasn't sure if theirs were jailbroken or they just figured out a way.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all.

You need to jailbreak to do this. And welcome to EIC.

and jailbreaking an iPhone is a quick, easy way to get fun things on your phone.

unless you are on 1.12 or 1.1.3. then it is a long and painful process.. just kidding.

but totally worth it.

I'm on 1.1.3. In the past I wouldn't mind doing stuff like this, which I had done to my old Nokias and Motorolas, but I want to treat this thing like a baby.

Thanks for the advice.
