Using iPhone while traveling to Canada question

I have to travel to Canada next month and I was wondering if I would be able to bring my iPhone there to use. Also, is it a bad idea to do so and will there be some ridiculous fees? Thanks

Guess it depends on how much you want or need to use it while you're away. I think you'll find that both voice and data roaming rates are pretty exorbitant. And data roaming can get you even when you think you're not using it (like via email checking every X minutes etc.) if you don't disable it. I think most folks recommend grabbing a cheap cell phone to take on trips if you can manage it ....
