when its time to get to 1.1.2 you have to shift and click Update and use the 1.1.2 restoring to 1.1.2 after installing oktoprep wipes it out, so start with 1.1.1 jailbreak then oktoprep, in iTunes hold shift and click update then use the windows.bat and you should be good to go:smile:

Your problem is you need to go to www.java.com (http://www.java.com) and update your java. That is causing the window.bat to fail...

I have had this same problem.

I had a jailbroken and unlocked 1.1.1 phone (originally 1.0.2). I used OktoPrep which appeared to install successfully.

I downloaded Java runtime, the website told me that it was installed successfully. Ran 1.1.2 jailbreak but it failed telling me that i needed to use OktoPrep before jailbreaking, which I had already done!

Grrrrrr.

I have managed to restore back to a functional 1.1.1 so will stay there until I have the time to go trhough the whole process again!

Since I have rebooted my PC I have seen that the icon for the .jar file has now turned into the 'coffee cup' icon, which it wasnt when I tried the jailbreak.

I think that a reboot must be required before java runtime works correctly.

Will try again tonight!

/edit.. AND just re-read the posts and have seen that I need to do Shift+Update not Shift+Restore. I also got that wrong!
