ok, i got my pudate to work, but now did i miss something ? y doesnt the google maps locate me work ??

You just updated to 1.1.3 or did you do the 1.1.3 jailbreak as well?

if you did it the iTunes route it should work. if you jailbroke it you will need to locate your position through LocateMe. then the locate function in google maps will work.

i only used locate me once. have it do its thing then go to the regular maps application. for some odd reason it "activates" the location feature on google maps. you shouldnt have to open locate me every single time, just the first time.

You do have to re-do it after a restart of the phone though

haha I tried it without using locate me at first.

Google maps had me 500 miles off. I was somewhere in ohio lol.

Wow, Maps never did anything but spin endlessly for me before running Locate Me ...

With Locate Me, I'm a block off from my house. With Google Maps my street is in the center of it's circle. With Wifi on and Google Maps it finds my HOUSE, lol!

I'm glad I got finer tuning now with the Google Maps, I just didn't think it could get that close!

when i use locate me it says that it has failed to obtain cell information. and when i go back to maps it still doesnt work.

I use navizon GPS. It is awsome and it activates the gogle locate me function as well.
