This one is quite awesome folks. You search for a webcam on google, and then you input the url in the app. Then, boom you got the webcam on your iphone! It lists the webcams you entered in a similar fashion as the native youtube app lists search results. Then you can bring them up full screen and slide to the next webcam like the photo viewer in the iphone.
Check it out: http://code.google.com/p/locations/
And see screenshots here: http://www.iphoneskinning.com/2008/01/locations-webcam-viewer.html

Yes and now you can save those urls as "web Clips" onto your home multi page.

Very neat app, now I can check my Weather Cams easily without loading Safari to visit my web page. :2cool:

I tried to use his app. No luck. Can u please give me a sample url to use. I might be inputting too much or not enough of the url. In any case, I can't get it to work and it looks like it might be awesome.

Put in DeltaWeatherCam as a description, and the URL of
deltaweathercam.com/toshibafixed/toshibafixed.jpg (http://deltaweathercam.com/toshibafixed/toshibafixed.jpg)
Put the http:// in front of the line above. You can also use my second cam using the URL
63.227.34.32:82/-wvhttp-01-/getoneshot?v=640 (http://63.227.34.32:82/-wvhttp-01-/getoneshot?v=640)
The second one is a network cam but doesn't work well at night. Either is a good test, but won't especially pertinent to you unless you need a cam shot of Delta Colorado with an overlay of the current weather.

How do I add more webcams? For example I tried to add a Las Vegas cam, and a New Orleans cam which were from earthcam.com. I tried adding the image URL a few times, but Locations keeps telling me that it's not a valid URL. What am I doing wrong?

I think it is expecting an URL that is an image (.jpg) or generates an image.

Yup. It expects moving .JPGs. And the screen refreshes only manually from what it looks like (although its difficult to say cuz I've only tried it with the statue of liberty and eifel tower cams that are already one the app).
If anyone knows of any good ones out there to add, post them here. I can't seem to find any that work with this app as most of th webacam feeds out there are not .JPGs.
KNK, do you have any good ones? Perhaps one of our girlfriend...

Yea this is a nice app but really needs an easier way to get new feeds, without the trial and error we have now. I believe the release notes say that Webcam searching is coming.
