Does anyone know how to add music to iphone manually?

You can't do that. The music is given a random filename when synced, before it can be played. That can't done through the filesystem via SSH.

Well if you can sync then you have music on the phone. So, what exactly would you like to do that you can't do with a sync? Do you want to load a sound for a ringtone or alert or something that's not a song?

And no. Its not yet possible for the iPhone.

I just want to be able add music from my friends computer. I would like to be to be able to drag and drop like on the iPod. That would be nice.
