I think John's avatar is of a greyhound (maybe a whippet), but it seems too big to be an IG. George is big for an IG (20lbs) and Mia is small for an IG (about 8lbs). Average is about 12lbs... ish. :D

As for the talk of my avatar -
I found the original image of Flickr. It was a rather large picture of the dog sitting in an armchair, in color. I ran a Black & White filter on it, cropped it down, and cut the dog out and placed him in the grass.
BTW - I've seen the image (my modified image) on a site somewhere out there. Either somebody had the same idea as me or somebody from EIC decided to use it on their site.

Its just a regular butcher's scale butchered up to carry a perch. Most traditionalists like the old balance scales and weights but I don't like the way they clank about as it scares the birds.
Just training a little one up at the minute who will be good for the black stuff. I'm determined to get even after crows killed a Harris of mine last year. Jess here is far too slow, she prefers rabbits, Yorkshire terriers and joggers wearing bobble hats.

You know you have taught me so much, now what is a bobble hat, have a picture.
Now these black crows, there are about 1o around here, and they are enormous in size, I see them landing on the limb of a tree out my window and eating a little prey and then drop the remains on my driveway.

My aunt has a pug who has a very large tongue that's hanging out of it's mouth half the time, and the other half of the time, it's either grunting, snorting, or snoring. It's disguising when it licks you. :tounge:

Haha - I used to have one of these, too! I'd have a whole zoo if I could...
Might as well have one of these...

Edit: was trying to guess the URL where I uploaded mine. I ain't as good as I once was. I got em on the iPhone though, apple needs to give the browser an "attach from iPhone library" function.
Will post next time I get a chance to browse my site to look.
You need to use the "Send to webgallery". I use it all the time. Oh, wait, you need a .mac account for that. I think it's fairly cheap, if you don't have 30GB like I do (and it's still not that expensive).
Lola and Sadie. Guaranteed with no pedigree ("Small black dog", "medium size black cat")
