weird message appeard when checking gMail on iPhone

why do I get a message that says " This message has not been downloaded from the server." when I open up my gMail? this doesn't happen on all of my e-mails but just a few once in a while.

yup it happens to me, too. It sucks. I suspect it's from not having enough signal bars. I can't recall a time that it happened when I was connected over wifi.

I get it all the time through out the day. Gmail pop isnt that great. Just let it sit for awhile then check it again. Your message will download

This isn't just a g-mail issue. I've noticed the same thing with my Yahoo set up. The issue seems to result from a lost data connection. When this happens, the EDGE "E" disappears, and I get a message about not being able to connect to the e-mail server.
