iphone won't receive calls (sometimes)

My iphone sometimes doesn't receive a call. No it doesnt happen when im on internet. It usually happens when the phone is locked. I have searched this on here already and everything i have found hasnt helped it. Please help me if you know how to fix this or know how to make it happen less.

Is the screen frozen when you tried to click anwser? Or does it just not ring. Also where do you live? Are you in an area like North Dakota where service probably sucks.. So much for at&t and cingular Raising the bar!!!

no the phone never rings. ive looked at att's coverage viewer and im in their so called "best" area in PA.

AT&T sucks.

Try using the sim in one of your other at&t or cingular phones to check if you're in a good area. How many bars are you getting?

I am getting 5 bars. When i put the sim into my Blackjack I get Four. Do you think this is a problem with att or the actual iphone (apple).

I'm think iphone if you're getting good signal in your other phones.
