No, what you will do is not update until you have heard they have the new software cracked again.

Definitely refrain from updating until the new firmware has been cracked. Even if there is the slightest chance of messing up the iPhone, I wouldn't take the chance.

And even when you get the go ahead, be careful, wait. When the update was made and everyone was asking is it safe to update, some guy said yes, I am updating now.

Well TinMan, on that persons advice began to update. Well that persons advice was wrong.

TinMan then updated his phone and Bricked it. It took him over 60 hours to get it back to normal.

So wait and play it safe.
