Creating Iphone programs guide?

Is there some kind of tutorial or guide on how to create your own Iphone programs? Would be nice to be able to create your own.

It takes alot of time and terminal skills. There is now the ability to make java apps but I havn't seen to many. A guide wouldnt really do it for ya, it may tell ya how to make one certain app but from what I hear its quite complex.

I am taking computer applications starting tomorrow for class so if I find out anything Ill make a guide.

Well coming in Feb 2008 Apple will launch the iPhone SDK for 3rd party apps, so you could start there.
