iam having some major issyes with my iphone,
my email wont open, it will try to open the it crash.

safary will also crash,and most of the time the phone it self will just freeze and the reboot.

help pls

Tell us about your phone, firmware, jailbroken, unlocked etc.

ok, firm:1.1.2
unlock & jailbroken.

btw i dont have internet at home right now

will doing a restore from my itunes help?

You can not restore if your phone is unlocked.

ok when i bought my iphone it was 1.1.1
and i update it to1.1.2

then i found out about jailbreak and did the downgradung to 1.1.1
did all it was needed to add app. and upgrade to 1.1.2 at the same time .

does that mean iam unlock?

If you just did jailbreak that is okay, you are not unlocked.

but then you say here:

So I don't know what you are.

Do you swear on a stack of bibles that you are an AT&T activated with the original sim card in the phone. If so then you have only jailbroken if you got 3rd party apps.

Jailbreaking does not mean it is unlocked.

If you want to restore you do not need the internet, just itunes and the restore butn.

Doesn't iTunes have to download the restore file off the internet? If you've restored before then it may be there already, but if not I think you may need some internettery.

i just try it and i get this mess. from itunes

itunes could not conctact the iphone software update server because you are connected to the internet.


and yes i hit restore not update

ahh lets see iam on my iphone and my iphone its on edge and last time i check edge is online.....now if ya finish trying to find a fraw and put as much effort on helping me with my issues ibe a happy camper.

Now since i dont have internet in PC

anyways i can fix my email? so it doesnt crash?

I don't think anyone is trying to give you a hard time. Without access to the Internet (via your computer) it is going to be hard to help you without just shooting in the dark.

Once you get access, try to restore, like it was suggested here, then if that doesn't work, repost and we will go from there.

These results were disappointing. I thought that the Apple folks were above all this kind of stuff. I have the same problem and went through all the effort to sign up for this forum only to find out there are a bunch of would be comics responding. Obviously the problem is that the system doesn't see the connection.
