just got a new imac for xmas and i got worried....
if i plug my iphone into the new imac..
will it update and destroy my mods???

No it will not destroy your mods. If iTunes asks if you want to update, press no.

yep, everyone needs to remember iTunes will not do anything without asking you first... unless you have auto-syncing on, but even that only affects your media and contacts.
