So I have been waiting and waiting to get my new Armor case from Otterbox. The Defender series is awesome, but I really love Otterbox products and thought I would go to the next level... If you are interested I have posted a little review below.

At face value the case is great. It feels very well made and not "cheap" at all. As far as cases for iPhone go, $69.99 is on the high end, but not unreasonable. Every button except for the ring/silence rocker button on the left side of the phone is accessible. Like other Otterbox Armor products, you can use waterproof headphones while swimming, snorkeling, etc. The rated depth is 1m of water, for less than 30 minutes. Any deeper or longer, and you are at your own risk. The sound out of the bottom speakers is really great considering the case is waterproof. People that I spoke with on the phone while it was protected in the Otterbox related that the I sounded distant and very quiet. All in all, the case is exactly what they advertise it as. Crush resistant, water resistant, dustproof, etc.

There is one deal breaker, and I am not sure if there is a work around yet or not, so if anyone has any ideas, feel free to reply. Since the phone plugs into a headphone jack inside the case so you can use the waterproof headphones outside of the case without exposing the phone, the sound output automatically defaults to headphones. Not a huge deal if you always use your headphones. I do not however, and I don't like being limited like that. I do not have a wireless bluetooth headset, so I am not sure if I can sue that while the phone is plugged into the headphone jack on the interior of the Otterbox. Any ideas on how I can change the audio output while the phone is plugged in? And also, does anyone know if the bluetooth is useable while the phone is plugged into a headphone jack, or does it still go directly to the headphone output and bypass the bluetooth?

Thanks for your help...sorry if I dissapointed any of you eagerly awaiting your Otterbox Armor!
