1.0.2 to 1.1.2 Question

My wife have a Iphone and used ibrickr to added aplications and ringtones also I downgraded from 1.1.1 to 1.0.2.the thing is my wife asked me to restore her iphone to original factory state but, I wondering if I upgrade to 1.1.2 will the iphone crash? or just stop working? Honestly I scare to do it, becuase I've reading that lot of people lost their iphones for upgrade to 1.1.2.

She's AT&T user the iphone have firmware 04.01.13_G Version: 1.0.2 (1C28)

if you dont plan on adding applications after the upgrade, then go ahead and update through itunes. it will upgrade to 1.1.2 and restore it as if you were to buy it from the store. just sync contacts, etc. before doing it and you should be fine.

Forkee that site's saved my hide about 6 times this week lol! Pony, the iphone upgrades are not that hard actually. Just be patient and DO NOT reinvent the wheel. Follow the instructions to the T and you won't go wrong

"follow to the T"= follow instructions word for word.

So if you have an unlocked iPhone with apps, and you want to upgrade to 1.1.2 basically just like one would come brand new, all you have to do is go through iTunes and upgrade?
