i looked but didnt see this posted. iPhone can now record video. still in beta, but it shows that suspicions were correct, it is possible

A search with the keyword "video" showed at least a couple of threads about this. Sometimes it's more efficient to search than to try to scan through forum posts. :smile:

maybe, but scanning is so much more fun. personally, i dont check the forum every day and rarely look past the first page of posts. i imagine i'm not the only one who views the site this way, so a repetitive post isnt always the worst thing.

I thought that the next firmware release was going to also allow for voice recording.

When Lucas Newman gives us an official app that actually records for several minutes and allows saving, we'll all be grateful that Apple hired him.

I thought that the next firmware release was going to also allow for voice recording.

thats been rumored, but no one knows for sure. to clarify, video is only available through modding, not through any firmware update

I hear that Qik has an iPhone app coming out soon. Some people are already using the BETA and it works well.
