If you are asking if you can change the SMS tone, then yes. With the newest firmware 1.1.2 you have a couple choices of SMS tones. Or you can manually make the change. A quick search should give you the information you need.

i just found stuff on changing the mail tone

but bout the sms tones
and i kinda don't want 2 hack my phone

My phone is stock. I can change SMS tone, but not email alert. I do not get a lot of text msg so I use the glass tone. I can hear it easily and it does not annoy me.
